Hello All,

I'm on a open work permit and have arrived in Canada 2yrs ago while my spouse was a student.

Things have not been the way we thought and have decided to get separated.

Can I file my PR Application without her or do I need to include her in my application.

Please suggest.

Until you are divorced you have to declare her as married but separated.

You can apply as legally separated without your spouse included. You will need to show proof of the separation.

You will need to research PNP to see if that is a possibility.
