I remember many of my relatives who sponsored their spouses in previous years, (prior to 2017 I guess) their files were cleared within 5-6 months maximum at NDVO. No files were sent to Mississauga back then.
At that time I didn't hear from anyone taking more than 5 months to receive PPR; and there was no such thing as Pre-Arrival letter then.
This was true for all the genuine cases with positive outcomes.

No idea why is NDVO complicating things now-a-days. Its really frustrating coz there is not point of making spouses wait for a year. This affects
the relationships in a big way. Why can't they start something like conditional Visitor Visa same like UK or many other European countries? So
people don't have to go through this unnecessary brutal separation. What's wrong in that?
I know many visitors who are staying illegally in Canada. They came to visit and never left.

So if a spouse enters Canada on visitor visa while the PR application is in process, what's wrong in that?
This wait is so painful .. I don't even know how to react anymore

True. And it hurts more when you know your case is genuine and people who applied 6 months after you got ppr and you are still stuck. One of my friend he applied month later me and his wife is already here since July and they are going for vocation to India in next month and I am still waiting . And also they only had 2 months old relation prior to their marriage and we have almost 5 years that too with families involed.

Guys, Can you expect an interview even after additional documents request.
I received a request to submit additional documents to NDVO, which is quite a number of things in support of our relationship.

Can I still get interview? Just need some idea because I am feeling very anxious about this unpredictable wait game.
I read in various discussions that after the file transfer its either one of additional documents request/interview/Prearrival/PPR
And most likely not receive interview after submitting additional documents.

Anybody having idea, please share?
