If u submitted original during PR u r not required to submit original again and if u sent a copy of that with ur citizenship application all u need to do now is dont screw up during interview for officer to doubt ur english proficiency. Otherwise they dont ask for results

I concur with responses by @sistemc and @Zmaqsood . . . language ability is demonstrated in the test and interview, and does not depend on presentation of documentation.

In particular, the documentation to show competency in one of the official languages is required to make a complete application. Beyond that, actual competency is what is required to be granted citizenship. Thus, screening applicants for language ability is specifically part of the interview (and is an inherent part of the test). That said, most applicants will hardly if at all recognize this is happening in the interview, the interviewer typically relying on general chat and the basic Q&A process to verify the applicant's language competency.

Reason why proof must be submitted with the application, which as I recall was implemented in 2013, is to reduce the number of applications being processed but then getting bogged down dealing with applicants who do not meet the language ability requirements. Prior to 2013, failure to meet the language requirement was diverting a lot of CIC time and resources, as it was probably the most frequent cause for test or interview repeats, and also for Citizenship Judge referrals (as of 2014 CJs were no longer referred language ability cases; since then these have been handled by a Citizenship Officer when an interviewer, typically a processing agent, is not satisfied the applicant has demonstrated adequate competency in an official language). Proof upfront is intended to more efficiently focus resources on applicants who are more likely to meet the qualifications.

Have you applied for citizenship already? You also lost report?
Yes, gotten AOR as well. No, didn't lose the report; actually sent the original one when I applied for the PR in the past. I only had a copy of that from which I made another copy and sent alongwith my citizenship application.
