We were told in November that our file has been sent over to Trinidad for interview an that we should give Trinidad two months time to get us a date smh,I mean the holidays are over so why the hold up still....so soo frustrating. We didnt request extra info because it takes too long,so all we can do is keep sending emails an hoping for good news.
Do not send emails..do not bother them..that is the first advice every body here give me..I am sorry is taking you so long..our file is in Mexico VO since October and no news yet..you will get news very soon ...you will see..just be little more patient...where is your sponsor from??..Do you have dependents(babies)???

Thanks for the words, yes really trying to be patient as possible, No dependents....I'm from guyana and my husband is from canada.

Yea I have finish medical long....it expires in February thought, then would be a year for it.
Sometimes they will extend the medical, but not always they will let you know . In our case we applied in sept 2018 and the interview was in early December 2019, we were approved however they would not extend the medicals , my husbands medicals expire Jan 19 2020 and he is landing before this date . I do hope that they extend your medicals as it’s quite a financial burden to have to re do them. I hope all of you waiting receive amazing news in the upcoming weeks.
This process is frustrating and draining emotionally , so please hang in there and stay strong ☺️

Thank u so much for the words, its soothing....however I have a question, did u got copr and visa on spot at the interview or two weeks after??

Finally after the mistake from CPC Ottawa of losing our CoPR we received it yesterday and went across the border on Prescottto complete the landing.

I had to involve my MP's office and thanks to that they were able to expedite resending the document, otherwise who knows how long we would have been waiting for CPC Ottawa to fix their mistake.

Good luck to everyone still waiting.

Haven't heard anything more and it's our one year mark today!

Not sure what else they could ask for but my husband's medical expires on March 21/20. If we could just get PPR soon, we could still make it to Canada before his medical expires. Sigh .....

You’re not alone my friend! It’s likely that we could go right up to the point that the medical expires. Keep us posted.

When do you get the Biometric's request? When we applied in Nov 2018 it wasn't required at that time. Anyone in a similar situation?
