Hi guys,

My boyfriend has an aunt in Toronto, we want to get married and apply for a visa through family sponsorship. I will have to be the person to apply because he doesn't know the language, I scored 6.5 at IELTS.
Please help with your advises, and when is the best time to apply.

Having an aunt in Toronto isn't likely to get you a visa. Does your aunt have any other family? A husband, children, parents, etc? If so she would not be able to sponsor your boyfriend.

Sorry for the disappointment but there is no way to sponsor a niece or nephew except under very strict circumstances. These are not applicable to your situation. You and he will need to investigate immigration under an economic immigration program, such as Express Entry.
