ATTENTION!

NOT TOO LATE – SUBMIT YOUR JOB DUTIES LETTER NOW!

There are many applicants who have only given their offer letter, relieving letter, salary slips and/or account statement showing salary credited as proof of employment.

The MOST IMPORTANT aspect of employment proof is to attest your job duty, role and responsibility. Based on this information, the visa officer VALIDATES your chosen NOC Code and moves the file forward.

In case you have not shown your job duties and responsibilities (based on whatever your past employer agrees to show on paper) – GET THE LETTERS NOW AND SUBMIT VIA WEBFORM ASAP. Do not worry, you have time!

Get up, its time to chase your past reporting manager. Chase your past HR person. Tell them you need this letter for immigration & citizenship purpose. Get whatever duties you can on paper. Signed by either HR or Dept. Head or Reporting Manager or any official signing authority.

Remember, Offer letters have salary mentioned, but they do not mention your job duties. It is compulsory to disclose any/all/as much of duties signed by past employers.

ACT NOW! YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY! AVOID ADR REQUEST!

BE PROACTIVE!

For the time resided in korea.. IRCC is asking for the one with lapsed record ..which is illegal as per korean revised laws.

Korea recently changed law to forbid issuance of this type of PCC for foreigners...
It's a special pcc which mentions any sentences that have been served..

IRCc Has asked for one and korean govt. Has denied..

Hello all,
I am a silent observer of this forum. I need some advice. Below is my EE info.

AOR - June 25
FSW-O - USA Resident

I traveled to India on September 20 for my new H1B visa stamping. The Visa officer at US consulate sent my application for administrative processing. Till now, there is no update on the application. I got stuck in India for the past few months. Since there is uncertainty about my H1B approval, I am going to rent a house and stay here till I hear an update about the application. I am planning to raise a web form to inform about the address change. Below are my questions.

1. Since I moved from USA to India, should I request for Visa Office change as well, or will a regular address change be enough?
2. Since my work authorization in USA ended in September 30, I started working for the same employer and same client from India as an offshore resource. My designation is changed to suit the org structure at offshore. Do I need to inform this as a change of employment? In this case, should I send my roles & responsibilities, offer letter and paychecks?
3. Should I inform about the administrative processing on my H1B Visa application? The application is not denied/approved yet. But, since my H1B is initially approved by USCIS only till December 31, 2019, I am not sure what happens if the administrative processing goes beyond this date.

1. You should report an address change. I don't think request to change Visa Office is a thing. Many people that change address get their final PPR request from their original VO - it might be the same for you. In that case, send a reply back to them asking for a new PPR to a VFS closer to you in India and you will get an updated request. Again, note that you might have to do this even if you update your address.

2. You don't need to report this. They calculate your experience at the time of AoR. You only need to inform them of major changes like address change, birth, change in marital status etc.

3. There is no need to inform about your administrative processing. If you had any denials prior to your AoR you need to tell them. IRCC doesn't care about your H1B validity date.

That being said, you can tell them honestly why you are in India when you send a webform to update address. Don't over explain, be precise and to the point. It's normal to have additional processing.

@hypervariate123 Thanks a lot for your time and response. I will raise a web form for address change.

For those waiting 6+ months, what did you ask in the webform?
When I contacted IRCC by phone, the agents were very helpful and always answered specific questions about the status of each step, but I am not sure what to ask on the webform to get a better understanding of the advancements in the process.
