should be good for now ~ they sent your rejection or Fairness procedure letter if you failed but they didn't do it

awaiting review means they will double check again....but what is the reason you think its not met?
No idea.
Tried asking IRCC agent when i called. But they also didnt have any information.

Well, at least you had some movement in October for ADR. did you order GCMS note?

My file was silence since July to now.

My file is also stuck in visa office - Sydney NS.
Before 10 days I called IRCC for status update on my file.
They mentioned my eligibility didn't met. They then mentioned it is under review.
No idea on what is wrong in my application or what additional details or explanation required.
I am worried about my application and how much more time are they gonna take. As I have already left my job in a hope that I would receive my PPR within time and land in Canada. But now with all these uncertainties, it is very difficult to deal with this situation.
Hope Sydney NS office starts processing April AOR applications quicker. As after few days Christmas and New Year's Eve will start, leaving again everything in queue.
Sorry to hear about the delay. Eligibility not met is a serious concern. Usually the case processing agent review the file and decides whether it is Met or Not Met and then pass the file to the officer for final decision(approved or rejected based on eligibility status). I strongly suggest you order GCMS notes ASAP while waiting for decision as you can check the area of concern and resubmit any supporting docs for them to consider. Good luck!!!

Today we have completed 8 months. Spoke to Ircc 2 weeks back and inquired about whether we had met the eligibility, but the agent told us that the application is still under process and they have no idea how long it will take. We also informed them that according to the GCMS notes we called for in July it stated that "we had passed our criminality"- so why is the back ground check taking so long ?
But again the answer we got was they have no idea. It is so frustrating, I mean who has an idea . Raising a web form does not help either.

Instead of GCMS notes, can i raise this question by raising webform?

Google GCMS or ATIP...or third party like GCMSbuddy etc

webform won't give you much detail so don't rely on it. GCMS is the best, you are reading exactly what officer is reading

My medical is now showing "Your medical is in review". Before it shows "You passed medical exam".

Anyone experience the same issue..??

I guess they wanna see if you need to extend or re-medical before PPR?

they are touching your file and expecting next step soon

My background check also changed from "completed positively" to " background check is in review".
Is this normal?
