Hello everyone. If I sit for another IELTS exam and get marks lower than my previous ones, am I mandated to update my Express Entry profile with the new results or I can stick to the old IELTS score? Please help.

No it is not like that, its completely your choice. After giving the exam again, if you get more scores then put that one in your file otherwise let the previous one be in the process.
