Hi All,

I have 18 days less for 3 yrs foreign experience. Currently I’m working in Canada on work permit. Can I consider my foreign experience as 3? I am losing 24 points here.
Just wanted to know if anyone had same situation and any solution?

Nope you cant, three years means three years not an day short.

One way to increase your points is to wait for sometime and gather Canadian experience

Hi ,

when I created my profile in cic there was no date option , only year and month was there. So for ex my foreign experience started from dec 2105 to dec 2018 .then I got transferred to canada on dec 10 but I joined organisation on dec 28 2015. And cic is considering it as 3 yrs here bcz there is no date option for actual calculations. Will that be a problem while assessing my documents after ITA?

That is tricky i really dont know, you could call them maybe to check but what i know is its better to be day to day on your letters even if app. Is month to month

And do three years mean 1560 hrs* 3 & 36 months ?
Or is the 1560 hours requirement only considered for the calculation of the1 year experience ?
