Hi guys，

I started my job on Jan 8,2018, do you know when the IRCC’s express entry system will count my work experience as two years? Should it be Dec 2019 or Jan 2020?

thank you for your reply, I entered the Jan2018 as my start date in my express enter profile, it does not allow me to add a specific date, will the system count 2 year work experience on Jan 1,2020?

If that is the case, technically, it is still not 2 years for Jan 1, 2020 if the system allows you to add.

Besides, you dont want to be asked for extra documentation if you enter Jan 1, 2020 and get your two years.

Recommondation is to wait till Feb 2020 and do this to be on the safer side, dont delay the process coz of these little things.
