I was talking to OINP and they said the same story , I asked if i come personally will i get more info they said no what ever is in website that is the status , he said currently they have received lot of application (more than expected) and thats why they closed streams ,they are trying to get the applications done , he said mostly they will try to go through all the applications by the year end and then go to new year with new quota. he said keep watching dont go for IF questions just wait and watch...

1. I want to apply for my spouses OINP, can his application accompany wife and kid? Yes

2. When can I expect next opening for OINP? Any idea? Maybe January

3. My spouse has two years of full time experience in NOC B category. Employer ready to provide all documentation legally. He has took ielts but score is overall 5.5. Is that enough? Under OINP Employer Job Offer stream it's not necessary IELTS

4. His spousal open work permit is about to expire next year june. Any idea if he can get the approval by then or whatever decision by then? Normally the desition takes 60-90 days.

It's 1040 for the principal applicant, 1040 the spouse, 150 each kid and 85 for the biometrics (170 for family group). I paid 2400 for 2 adults and a kid (1040+1040+150+170).
