Hi Good afternoon!
I hope you could help us with this concern.
My sister is in the Philippines and I currently resides here in Vancouver Canada. She applied online for a job here in Canada, after several weeks she received a job offer (for March 2020 deployment) from a certain Tony E. Peterson (HR Manager) for Castro General Farms Inc. According to the email sent to her, the position will be Stock Evaluator and to accept the said job, they are requiring my sister for the signed job offer, IELTS test, filled out forms from the company so they could process her Employment Contract (EC), Certificate of sponsorship (COS), Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) and work permit visa. Also, there were several requirements which she sent prior hand when she's still applying like NBI, passport, photo, govt id and her company id as she is currently working in a manufacturing company. All the contact details indicated on the email are correct when i checked on their website. They are not asking her any money as per the email, she will only pay for the IELTS exam. It really look legit but my concern is how can we be sure if it's a legitimate job offer? Will it be okay if i call the company and ask? Any thoughts will be appreciated. I hope you could help us. Thank you very much in advance.
