I have applied for PR via CEC and my AOR is July 9th, which I thought was plenty of time to get it approved before my partner's OWP expires in March 2020. However, there seem to be a lot of delays at the moment and with the holiday period coming up I wanted to know my options.

I know they are not eligible for a BOWP as a dependant, but I still have a year left on my inter-company transfer WP. When we landed the immigration officer even said to them, so you'll do this for two years and then go onto hers for the last year.

What is our best option in this situation? I have done some extensive online research but not too sure what to apply for and when.

Thanks!

Presumably, you have a skilled job, which means your partner can apply for an OWP based on your status.

yes - their job is also NOC A. So it would just be an OWP application as my spouse?

Their job is irrelevant. They would be applying based on your status as a skilled worker.
