Hi,
For ECA (by WES), do you know if it's necessary to submit a certified translation done by a canadian agency? Or a certified translator from my country would be okay?
I know WES works with Costi, but I've already been waiting a few days for a fee, and I need to decide asap.
Thanks!!

Thanks for the prompt response. I will explain in details. I have a little over 3 years experience however I would like part of that experience to appear in personal history. Which means my score would reduce from 1026 to 1001. Should I simply move it to personal history or should I delete it from my account before ita so that I can easily move it to personal history. I am thinking since I still meet the basic requirements and my score is still above the Ita draw. What is your opinion please
Do not change anything in EE application. Move your experience in your PR application.

Hi Guys,

My CRS score is currently at 434.

I'm planning to get points for a valid job offer (supported by LMIA) and my company agrees to do so for me.

Right now I'm working under PGWP which is valid for another 2 years. Do i have to re-apply for another work permit after I get my LMIA to get the 50 points?

Or I can get the 50 points and get ITA then re-apply for my work permit along my PR application being processed.

Please HELP. THANK YOU!
If your employer issues an offer letter supported by an LMIA, you can claim 50 points.

It seems, you have filed wrong information and your application is stuck in "review required" loop. Call IRCC and ask for the status.

1. My police certificate.
I used to live in Kazakhstan for 2 years. Now I am back to my country Azerbaijan.

My friend in Kazakhstan with vicarious authority got the certificate on my behalf on August, 22.

Few days later I had to have my business trip to Kazakhstan. And I was there from August, 26 to August, 30. During this period my friend gave me the obtained police certificate.

I submitted my documents and completed my application on September 25.

I have just found in internet that below could be a refusal reason -

PCC issued before leaving the country. You have to apply for your PCC only after leaving that country, even if it's only one day before your departure (even though it is the date of issuance that matters, you should not request it before leaving, even if it's the day before you leave). And do not return to the country between the date you were issued the PCC and the date of submission of your application with your documents.

Does this may apply to my situation? How likely to be rejected based on the information above?

2.Employment reference letter
One of my employment letters has no contact information (no phone numbers, emails, fax), only the address of the company. How much risky is that? Should i do anything in this situation?

Hi Guys,

I have some questions regarding the police certificate requirements.

CIC says they don't require police certificate for any time spent under 18 y/o and time spent in Canada.

I have lived in Canada (study and work after graduation) since I was 16 years old. I only revisited my country once for a duration of 2 weeks. Does this mean I would not need police certificate at all when I get my ITA?

Please HELP. THANK YOU!

As per this link -
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/apply-permanent-residence/police-certificates.html

  • you and your family memberswho are 18 years or older
  • and
  • every country you (or a family member) stayed in during the last 10 years for 6 months or more in a row
You don’t need to give us police certificates for any period of time before you were 18 years old or for time spent in Canada.

So if you were above 18 and in the last 10 years you stayed in the foreign country for 6 months or more in a row , you'll need a certificate.

If you have mentioned about your business trip to Kazakhstan in your PR application, there is a high chance of refusal.

Reference letter is also shady, if you have not provided enough information.

I am getting a new pcc from Kazakhstan after the business trip.

Also a i have a business card of the person who has signed the employment letter.

do you think i can somehow add them to my application?

My AOR is of October 19th. Now my passport will expire on October 1st, 2020. Now, should

1.) I wait for my PPR & then make a new passport later after landing?
2.) Should I now right away renew my passport and then update via webform asap? or
3.) I should wait till March for PPR & if I don't get it then I submit it via webform? [will updating my info using webform so late can cause any problem?]

Pls advice experts about which option above should i follow to avoid any delays and confusions in my processing. thanks
