Hypertension medications

Hi guyz,

Just got my Tourist Visa approved for 2 years. I'm from the Philippines, 26 year old Male. I was just wondering, I'll be bringing with me my hypertension meds that I have been using since 2017. I was diagnosed with stage 1 hypertension 2 years ago and my doctor prescribed me these meds. Since then, my BP ranges from 110/70 to 130/80 as the highest.

My question is, will there be a question on the form that they will be providing us on the plane about medications that I will be bringing? Should I declare it to that said form? I remember bringing those medications when I went to South Korea and Australia but I wasn't questioned about that medication. I'm thinking of bringing the prescribed receipt given to me by my doctor. What do you guyz think.

I just don't want to break any rules. Also to add, I'll be staying in Canada for 2 weeks.

there is a question, to be safe just declare it. if its on prescription then there should be no problem.

Yikes, my medicines are not on a bottle. I only have my prescription with me. They are over the counter prescribed pills.

A packet of pills in original packaging is fine along with the prescription paper.

For blood pressure pills doubt CBSA will have much interest anyway and as you are coming only for 2 weeks not likely to be carrying a 90 plus day supply which would not be allowed.

Your pressure readings do not seem that bad to me but guess that is the medication keeping them low..Enjoy your visit
