My eligibility was recommended passed....as per Ralph's reply

And yes I have received PPR last week... So don't panic at all!! You should only afraid if it's RR....
:( You should only afraid if it's RR ? what does that mean ? I've RR on sibling residence, is that a bad thing ?

The situation for all of us who still waits sucks.

I called an agent yesterday, and was told that there was a note that my application was marked as ready to finalize at the end of January 2018, but in March it moved to RR for some reason... My meds are gonna expire on Nov 25, and my kids on Nov 11(which is also weird).
There is nothing to do just wait, I have ordered GCMS notes, but they never come. I actually don't think I will get PR at all, and at this point I just want an answer..
you are not alone, I am in RR (Medical expiry date is Nov 12,19), seeing posts related to RR which are like "RR cases takes longer than usual, RR cases takes 12-15 months etc etc" but I let go, you also do the same, we will get it.

Hello, I am (Nov 30 AOR, RR on sibling residence).
I have two query's, I am in middle of immigration processing so there are two things which I am planning:
1- My passport will expire on May 2020, so planning to apply for renewal of passport in coming week, then will attach new passport through web form, is that the right thing to do?

2-I am planning to visit Turkey/Thailand/Dubai/Malaysia/Saudi (country not decided) for 14 days in the mid of Dec 2019, Will be there from Dec 16 to Dec 31. Should I visit or wait for PR related information ? Because In my passport the immigration stamps will get added and also it can be possible if I get PPR email between these days then there will be a hassle.

Please suggest brothers and sisters.

I already renewed my passport in January after application submission & sent them the new one, they updated the data 6 weeks later so u can do it .

Regarding your travel I’m not sure I understand the question but u can go & update ur travel history when u come back through a webform

Regarding second question i would like to say that u can go. One is under obligation to disclose his travel history till date of ita. Post ita one is not obliged to disclose it, its discretionary. Regarding this i have seen a video on you tube of someone named as kuber or alike. U can verify from there also.
Because adding of post ita travelling will add more time in taking a decision on ur application. One is not required to add it. But still i m not an authority on this. Its my opinion

No , Go whether the travel is for recreation or business GO ,don’t keep ur life on hold because of PPR , once u get it you will have 30 days to submit the passport , may be by then if u have already travelled , you would have the time to submit it when u come back. Another opinion which would save you the hassle but I don’t know whether it is applicable in ur country or not but it is applicable in mine is to keep the old passport , don’t send them the new passport right away because they will take more time to update it for you, whenever u receive PPR submit the old passport & get it stamped then u can travel to Canada with the old passport & the new one together. Just an opinion!

Look.... I hv seen people here who had RR but later on they sailed through and their eligibility started showing met or passed....

Sometimes in RR case you receive additional document request or the senior office gets satisfied with the information you had provided......

Thanks alot for ur reply. No rr but still a long wait for no reason. Its just a matter of time. Ordered gcms notez n got in august 19. Nothing fishy. Thinking to order again. But thanks alot for ur reply.
It's matter of right time..... My case was also very clear and simple... I had no RR or such thing.... Still it took me 10months.... So the only mantra is to wait patiently, once they pick your file and if you have passed all stages , they'll send you passport request! I understand it's easier to say than to do....

Has anyone's medical been extended from expire date to another date?
