Hello,
In september, I filled an application for study permit for Canada study permit, and yesterday I got a rejection letter stating that “I am not satisfied that you will leave Canda after your studies” and
“Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of: your qualifications, previous studies, missing mark sheet, academic records, level of establishment” However, the documents which were required to finish my application, did not mention any of these concerns mentioned in the letter. Did I do anything wrong? Was I supposed to select something else in my application? Thank you.

What is your previous education and work experience and what did you apply for?

I applied for study permit. I am currently studying in University of California, but I want to take transfer to York University. I think I might have to create a stronger Letter of Explanation and talk about why York is better option for me than UC and what ties me back to my country. But before reapplying, do I think might have a chance getting the visa even with a stronger LOE?

Are you doing well in your courses at UC and are you transferring into the same program? You will have a tough time proving strong ties to your home country while studying abroad.

Yes, I have an average of B overall in my courses. I am transferring to a slightly different major because the major I want to go into is taking time to make a decision and thats why i have to apply as my other major choice. Also, I do have a business to take care of and properties in my country, which I can mention in my application.

Hi guys,

My study permit is still in process and I just called CIC, they said they are still working on October 2019 permits. I submitted mine in December 2019. I have had to defer my admission already to May 2020 and I have sent the updated letter of acceptance to CIC. From their pace, it seems it may take til even May before I get mine.

My question is: Is it advisable to defer the admission again to September 2020 (since the permit is not yet out and the due date for the full fees is March 16th, 2020)? The school says I can defer for a total of 3 times (I have done 1 already), and I also paid the initial deposit to hold my spot (also sent that to cic).

Please someone help.
