This would still raise a flag . May I know from whom you received the money.
I will suggest to have a gift deed to be on safer side. It is not much of a trouble now a days and get it notarized.
If you say that you already had funds in your account as per CIC’s requirements then you don’t need to show any gift deed. If the required proof of funds was already available in your account and was older than six months then there will be no problem. You know that you will also be submitting a bank account opening certificate along with the average balance in your account. These two things have a huge impact. And then your funds older than six months will finish off your worries. The amount transferred by your parents don’t need any clarification. Keeping in mind all the above.

And it doesn’t has to be a salary account right ? We can show savings account as well, isn’t it ?

Two major factors effecting the Express Entry pool are;

1. Candidates with higher scores are becoming aware of the Canadian Immigration plan (I met two people today at one place with a difference of just 10 minutes who are planning to immigrate to Canada. The first one was opting for SINP and the second for Federal Skilled with score as high as 470)

2. Students in Canada who have graduated and have been on work permit since the last couple of years are also part of our race. And trust me these lot have really high scores. Like a friend of mine who is in Toronto graduated an year back. Scored CLB 10 in 3 and CLB 9 in writing, has a sibling who is already a PR and has Canadian work experience. Entered the pool with 486 points. So these guys are tough.

Who would want to come back from a country like Canada when they have stayed there for more than 2 years. And Canada is giving them an opportunity to become citizens with least hurdles. Unlike all of us. Well, we should work our best to increase our scores. And keep supporting each other by all means. Soon we might immigrate to Canada one day.

If by savings you mean without any debts/loans, yours solely and readily available for you anytime. Then yes.
Because by definition savings account means an interest-bearing account with limited transactions.

Thats my NRE ( Non resident ) account back in India, and has no loans/depts on it.

I have inadvertently deposited $11,000 cash in my salary account which is around 60% of my entire POF. Doing some late research, I found out that depositing cash is an absolute terrible idea. My father recently sold a property so I can show a sale deed along with gift deed. However, the sale deed is not in English language and I don't want to open a new pandora box by showing it. More so, because the payment I am using was a part of cost paid in cash so the amount didn't go to my father's account first.

I can now take the cash out, deposit it in my father's account and have him transfer it the right way. But the VO will see the $11,000 fumble in my account prior to gift money coming in. I heard getting a new account is also a bad idea. Does anyone have a better idea?

P.S: I am expecting an ITA soon so there is no way to showing a 6 month ageing.

Hello Members, With 462, may I hope to receive an ITA before the end of November 2019? My birthday is in December.
Its highly improbable for you to get the ITA in November, 2019 given the gap in draws and cut off lurking beyond 465-470, however, you have high chances to hit the bullseye by January/February.
Good Luck !!

There's a possibility , but the chances are slim especially with the fact that they skipped today too. Maybe in December tho . I'm also on 462 , but my birthday is next year june
