2nd GCMS notes: Nothing news except file transferred to Montreal on May 2
3rd GCMS notes : Eligibility started on July 18 by case analyst RR for stat questions
4GCMS notes : Nothing news on it expect address change
GCMS notes ordered October 5
Ghost update: October 11
Called IRCC on October 11: Agent said All assessments are passed
Called today and asked if a decision has been made on the application: Agent said Officer notes said that they are looking to approve the application. Agent said you will receive a notification in your account soon.
@cansha what does agent mean by “they are looking to approve the application” how long it takes to receive PPR from Montreal after “all assessments passed”?
In my case and in many other cases it was within a day. Generally when a file is approved Montreal sends PPR quite quick but Montreal sends PPR in account and not in email. So check your account to see if there is a new message there.

Hi Cansha,
I checked my account so many times. I just checked before replying to your comment. There is no message there.

Okay. Are you inland candidate? If yes, then they will send you an interview request and that may sometimes be delayed depending on how many slots they have available

Aor: Mar 14
MEP: Apr 30.
FSW-Outland (USA). Never travelled or visited Canada.
Criminality is in process since my first call, June 02, 2019.
Eligibility and Security have not started.
Didn't receive biometric request yet. This is bothering me so much since the beginning.
Requested GCMS notes in July first week and haven't received yet. Raised web form request and received an email, but it doesn't really have any helpful information.
VO: Montreal

Can anyone @cansha please let me know if there's anything I can do?
Today, I came to know through an agent that my application was transferred to Edmonton Office 3 months ago and regular processing times doesn't apply to me. Does anyone know how long Officers will take to process the application at Edmonton? Did this happen to anyone else?

My status has changed to background check is in progress since 17th March, 2019!

I misquoted it ,for me it says " We are processing your background check" since last week, so thought of checking if it's same for you?

Yes its the same as yours.

We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Thats since 17th March, 2019 but for you if its recently changed to that it means PPR is just a day or 2 away.

All the best!

That does not seem to work with Montreal. I had the same status after AOR, then it changed to "your application is in progress" after biometrics on Jul-11. On Oct-06, it again changed to "We are processing your background check". No update after that.
