Hello Members,

My cousin passed away leaving 2 young kids and the spouse behind. He was the main earner in the family. We were thinking of adopting of their younger daughter (7 months).
My wife and I have a young one of our own (9 months old). We were hoping is there any way to sponsor that child so we can bring her here and possibly offer her a future. I wanted to confirm, if the canadian immigration system allows this?

The short answer is no. Unfortunately sponsorship won't be possible. Both parents would need to be deceased for this to be possible.
