Just relax. If you are not loosing points due to age or ielts expiring, By end of January you should have the ITA

Lol it’s about people of Canada . And affordability of everyone. Even if you and your wife make 6000$ a month still you can’t afford house in Toronto . And by the way I have a house and good income as well. It’s about voice of Canadian people (Native) . Why should they think for you first obviously native people will think for them self

By the way I don’t work at Tim’s or subway but I can tell u something u r insulting people who are working there. I own a office in GTA . I am an immigration consultant and ya I already have own house in GTA area as well. But I can see you are frustrated.

We share the same story mate, except that I joined the pool in late March. Waiting for OINP nomination, and the decision is due by 26 Oct. Good luck

Hi, please has anyone changed spouse to accompanying Post-Ita before e-Apr?

Spouse ECA is not yet ready so reducing crs scores. Thinking of changing to unaccompanied to secure ITA then change to accompanying when ECA is ready before lodging our application.

If recalculated score after adding spouse new eca is still higher than the minimum crs for the draw ITA was received should there be any problems?

Am not an expert but have read that if U add spouse post ITA your scores will be recalculated and it falls beliw he CRS cut-off, you will not meet eligibility. So I think U really need to consider some key factors...
1. How long till ur spouse ECA is out? If it’s a month or two or even less why not wait, if U know it will automatically lead to ITA?
2. What if your file is considered before the ECA arrive? What will be ur justification for spouse not accompanying?
3. If your file is considered as spouse not accompanying and ECA arrives a day later U will not be able to add your spouse to Ur application because you have given a reason why she is not accompanying you and I am sure the reason won’t be “due to ECA not available”

My view- if U are not loosing points and your wife’s ECA will come in a month or even two and U are certain it will lead ITA then relax and be patient, don’t complicate your file.

Caveat- am no expert let the more experienced ones in the house weigh in... best of luck to Us all.

Congratulations! Can you share your OINP processing timeline? I got NOI in August 15th as well.

Your wife's ECA score will not be taken into account while they recalculate your scores after adding spouse post ITA. It is clearly mentioned on their website that your scores would be recalculated based on the standing you had till the day of your ITA so if your wife's ECA would be dated post ITA, it won't be considered.

In this case, it's better to wait then having your secured ITA getting rejected while they recalculate the scores.
 
With the election approaching, will there be substantive changes in the EE system? I am at 456 and looking to study in Canada next year to boost my education and also crs score. In the meantime, am worried that in case there are changes in the EE system due to conversative win and there are no extra points for studying in Canada. Senior members, please share your views.

If you are not loosing points due to age or ielts expiring, by end of January you should have the ITA. This is just an assumption, nevertheless fingers crossed.
