Now I'm really confused do we wait for a request for biometric or we do it without being asked? Can anyone who has done their biometric please upload a biometric request letter so we know what it looks like? Thanks

Before you submit your application there is an option to check if your country requires it
I submit the webform earlier this time when I sent application, they were saying you don't have authorization to talk on behalf of applicant in the reply to webform. I was really disappointed by the answer. Although I have submitted "Use of Representative" form for my spouse. with Myself being Representative. They took around 8-10 days to reply.

They replied to me withing the 5 day frame. I was just updating the birth of my child (!im sponsoring) ...Im hving this issue too i did submit a use of rep form with my husband's application but twice arv called to check status and the agent keep telling me that its not there . Either tht or since they still wrking on my file its not yet showing tht i hv submitted it ....

Well, in our case we submitted through our lawyer. he is our representative. but on phone calling they are not giving any information to my lawyer and just saying that till get aor they wont give any information to lawyer, only client or sponsor can contact cic for information.

I think the use of rep is for after they have transfered the file. Agent told me after file transfer even i the sponsor cant call CIC for info i hv to call other office and thts where the use of a rep will matter

Dear forum members,
I am Canadian PR holder for the last more than 3 years. I have yet to sponsor my wife from India. She is not doing any job in India. I wish to invite her on visitor visa to celebrate christmas and new year 2020. If she gets approval and reaches here in Canada, thereafter, I intend to apply for spousal visa from inside Canada.
My query is:
1) Is it possible to do so?
2) What is the probability of getting her visitor visa?
3) What documents/proofs she will need for doing so?

Need your valuable guidance.
Thanks

Hello,
I have been working since 5 years in India and applied for visitor visa so that I can visit my husband. Sadly it got rejected. In most of the spousal cases visitor visa gets rejected.
However, there is no harm in taking chance as it has no impact on your PR spousal application.

This is strange. Most of the July applicants have received AOR, Biometric and Medical.
My case:
App received: 25 July
AOR: 04 Oct
Biometric: 7 oct
Medical: 8 oct

What’s is the first letter you receive from cic after submitting your spousal documents?
Who else is waiting for AOR from early July month?
