My file was transferred to Mississauga on March 1st (bio and medical done In February). My application was received on November 5th. And my file has been now transferred to Paris (aug 19th) so I guess it’s normal you do not hear from them for a while. I guess you have to wait that 10-12 months have passed.Hi everyone !

Mine just got transferred earlier this month, so i don't think I'll hear something from them. Have you tried requesting GCMS notes?Nope
Did you apply in 2019 or 2018? And not yet. I don't think I will until possibly the end of next month if we still don't hear back for biometrics. I know many people who applied in November and December that still didn't get bio or med so I guess I'm not too worried. Just gotta be patient I suppose!
My husband is Algerian (Muslim) and 6 years younger and I'm Afro Canadian our process has been moving along ok so far, they recieved our application on 27th March and asked for medical and Biometric on 22nd and 21 May respectively so far and he did his medical on 2nd of June and passed it on 10th June started processing the application on 19th June. Good luck to you and yours on the process. I know seems like forever and this process is like playing a waiting game but will be worth it in the end keep your head up.

There are many people missing either medical or bio request who applied back on 2018 so I am not too worried but I am just hoping they send it soon. They sent it to you quite fast! Possibly because it was before the transfer. Once our was transferred it has been silent... my husband did biometrics back in 2016 and they are on his account on gckey but I know he has to do them again. Not sure if that makes a difference but I'm hoping everything comes at once hopefully in October or November. I just want to go back to Tunisia to get him in January or February. That is my wish! If we don't receive anything by November I will send in a GCMS notes request for sure. This process is so unpredictable.

Unfortunately although that is true, for this process PR, they need it again. For some reason it's different than for visitor's **eye roll** lol so they are going ot ask us again sadly.
