I find it strange also that my parents are in Singapore but the LVO for them is CPC Mississauga?

My lawyers reply was

All applications go through the 1st stage in Mississauga

They may have put home address as Brazil. They may decided to process some applications outside Canada to spread out the work. Who knows.

I put my parents home address as Singapore and they live in Singapore. Never had super visa either.

It is all random how they assign the LVO eh?

We are lucky then! Is it faster if LVO is CPC Mississauga?

Don't work there so can't cofirm whether there is a system or not.

now, my mother received a letter about biometrics payment and there is a link she can click to pay, i dont know why they sent it when i already paid for it with the receipt of 170 dollars which i used my credit card. i included the receipt in the application i sent..

But clearly not everyone here has the processing centre as Mississauga?

So I duno why my lawyer said that. Anyway at the end all that matters is that we get the PR for our parents.

Guys can some one guide from personal experience?
Is it a good idea to mention about PGP application being in progress, while applying for Visitor visa extension? Or would it create a dual intent scenario and a case for rejection?

Use sponsor UCI to see both ( sponsorship & PR ) application status same time.

Yes it is likely related to PGP. Given the PGP application it is pretty clear that she doesn't plan on visiting temporarily.

I only applied because i wanted her to visit for a week for my son's birthday, and go back. I always thought they treated each application as a separate case but this make me wonder...fingers crossed i get my AOR soon. So nervous about the application being returned...

No one reported.CIC will ask you to submit missing or required form or supporting documents if required.

For now : Pay again as per request .

Later : CIC will refund you over payment. You can ask via webform.
