Friends,
I applied Aug 30 2018 inland.
My security check hadn't started until Aug 20 2019! when I got CV request
I was under "eligibility review" status for around a year!
I've applied through Express Entry- PNP.
what a frustrating process! GCMS notes did not provide more than what I knew already.
is there anyone else like me here?
do you have any idea how long it will take?

Dear all,

I have a few questions for an express entry application. Thank you so much in advance for your kind help. Please help me if you know the answer to my questions. Thank you,

1. For evaluation of a bachelor degree from Iran (from Kardani to Karshenasi), is it possible to evaluate the degree by WES? If so, is it necessary to translate the original degree (manzooram ine ke asle madrak ro azad nakardim) or the translation of the normal document would be enough?

2. Is the Bachelor degree from Elmi-Karbordi University valid enough to be sent to WES for evaluation?

3. Does someone know if somebody wants to pick NOC 8251- Farmers and farm manager as the main NOC, which type of employment letter is needed if the person has been self-employed and has worked on his own land as a farmer. I should add that the person has the Agriculture insurance for about 10 years and has worked as a farmer during that 10 years? Do you think if the employment letter from Jahad Keshavarzi is valid enough for express entry work experience proof?

Again thank you for your time and consideration,

Hi and welcome to the forum.
What was the reason behind you RR? It should be in your GCMS. Did you provide any supporting document for RR? Is it passed now?

The CV that you mentioned is for the purpose of security. The officer will check your CV and decides if they are going to send you to regular security or the the enhanced SS. Sorry to say that, but if you are the same as rest of us, more than 99% you are going to be sent for SS, which might take at least 4-5 months extra.

PS: Please put the detailed timeline in your signature. It makes easier to answer your questions.

Hello friends,

Just a quick questions! It's already been 220 days since I submitted my online application (AOR) and based on my last GCMS notes, as of August 20th, my security screening has not started. Is it possible for a case to get the PPR email without being asked for any additional documents such as CV, given my current waiting time? Thanks a lot!!!
Hi, I hope all is well. It is somewhat common to get ADR at the start of security checks but not always.

P.S. From myimmitracker and this forum, I notice today that in 2019 no Persian in the US got PPR. :( By any chance have you guys heard of anyone?

Hello and welcome to the forum.
first of all, sorry if I am not that helpful since I did not need to use WES, but I try to answer to your questions from what I have heard.

1 and 2- As far as I know, they need official one. age shoma hanooz azad nakardeid, roye madareketoon mizanan "unofficial" ke hamin moshkel dorost mikone. Also, I am not sure what the equivalent version of kardani be karshenasi is for WES. Do they consider it as bachelor degree in Canada? Do they need your kardani as well to give you the whole karshenasi? For these, it is better to email WES directly, explain your situation, and ask them what they will give you. Ask them if they have any equivalency chart for Iranian universities.
See this link: (I just found it)
https://wenr.wes.org/2017/02/education-in-iran

Also, for your documents, WES requires your university to send the documents directly to WES, which 95% of universities in Iran don't offer this kind of service. So, you need to out all your documents in a letter, ask your university to seal it, then enter your university address for the"send" part of the envelope and send it to WES. Do not put your address, otherwise WES send it back to you.

3- Irrespective of NOC, your job offer letter should have the following information:
The following documents are mandatory for each work experience declared:

  • a reference or experience letter from the employer, which
    • should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
    • should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits; and
  • if the applicant is self-employed, articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable proof of self-employed work experience).
If the work experience is in Canada, proof may include copies of T4 tax information slips and notices of assessment issued by the Canada Revenue Agency (the time period for these documents should reflect the work experience timeframe [e.g., work experience from 2006 to 2008 requires only documents from those calendar years]).

Check this link:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/applications-received-on-after-january-1-2016-completeness-check.html

I couldn't find your NOC, but the duties and responsibilities in your experience letter should match the one in your NOC. they don't have to be exactly similar, but a person without knowledge in agriculture should tell if your duties matches the ones in the NOC or not.
Age toye name begid self-employed, yekam hasasan ke dorogh nagid v shayad kheily tool bekeshe ta madarek ra check konan. Kheily ham supporting doc bayad beferestid ke sabet konid shoma vaghean rast migid, masaln form maliati, bime, .... vali age name az jaei begirid kheily behtare v rahat tar mitonan sabet konan, mashroot be in ke name hameye sharayete bala ra dashte bashe. Sharmande fekr kardam ina ra be farsi begam behtar bashe.

Lastly, I wanted to ask you, have you checked your points? The problem is that usually they give a lot of points to higher education, if the education is Canadian, or if the job is Canadian. You don't get points for any of these. So, I wonder if you get enough points for express entry. Maybe you can apply through Federal Trade Program:

Sorry if it is a stupid question, is OINP paper based or online? Did you submit your application through CIC account?
Did you have access to ECAS in the past and you don't have access to it now or you never had access? If you had access in the past, you can submit a CSE and ask them to help you with your account.

I know that @ms-nobody is also PNP. He may be able to help you more.

I am PNP applicant too, PNP processing in general is slower than any other stream in express entry. your timeline is little slower of trend and this put your patience to even more test. good luck.

in regards to point 1, i did not provide the final degree and it was OK, i gave the copy of certified translation of what i had and club it with uni documents and all uni did was put it in a sealed envelop with their logo and i sent it to WES by UPS.

Thank goodness, so there was at least one case in 2019 so far. I agree we should try to be hopeful and stay positive. :) It's been total silence for me so far since my last ADR in late Jun.

It's not stupid question at all it's my fault I wasn't clear . I'm outland , pnp paper based applicant and I've applied for work permit and pr at the same time .
I've never had access to ECAS in the past . I've tried million times but it wasn't successful.

So then the problem is not with the system. I have never used it myself but I know that ECAS is only for certain applications. I am not sure if they create your profile in ECAS.
There are other ways that you can follow the last status of your application. Try them and see which one works for you.
1- create an account and try to link your application to your account. See this:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account/link-paper-online.html
2- Call them and ask about the last status of your application. The following link is for CIC. Search the province that you are applying may also have a contact number.
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/contact-ircc/client-support-centre.html
3- Raise a CSE
https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx
4- order GCMS notes.
However, each of these require some information. Check which one applies to you.
