I am also a Filipino citizen, and I got married back home but filed and granted divorce here in Canada. I know that once became a Canadian citizen I automatically renounce my Filipino Citizenship not unless I apply for dual citizenship is this correct? If this is the case and I want to change my surname back to my fathers surname, I can d so without having any complications entering Philippines one day with a Canadian passport and my name being switch back to fathers surname?

I really hope I am making sense with what I am seeking advice with. Thank you so much everyone in advance for helping me out with this.
It's fine. Go ahead and use your father's surname.

I have a married friend who kept her name on all legal documents because it's a pain to change it in a Philippine passport. Anyway, when you get a Canadian passport, you don't have to worry. Probably even better to enter the PH with a Canadian passport for shorter lines at the airport.

Does anyone know how urgent processing works? I saw someone in aug tracker how has done that.
As I know if you have a job offer that needs Canadian citizenship (for example Air Canada's flight attendant is one of those jobs) then you can send them that job offer and they will process your application very fast.
