Proof of Funds/ settlement funds

Hey everyone.
I have a little doubt. I am the main applicant and the funds are me and my husband's joint account. I was thinking of showing just this account for POF. But I need to show my husband's bank statements for employment proof which will be another bank account on his name. Can I show only one bank account for POF and at the same time show another bank account's statements in the employment section?
Please help!

Need more clarity. For whose employment proof you are showing? And is your husband only account holder or you are joint account holder as well?

Bank account -1
Main bank account with the required amount for POF. This one is joint account. We will be showing this with bank manager's letter in POF section.

Do you need to show the bank statements for the job proof? Of course it depends on what you're showing as a proof. As long as you have the experience letter according to the Canadian format (40 hours per week, employments dates, job duties described according to your NOC on company's letterhead), you might not need the bank statements for the job.

However, if you have your own account for POF, I wouldn't worry about another account you're using to prove a totally separate thing, especially since he's not a principal applicant!

Thanks for the information. But I got to know another mistake I was making in one other thread. Secondary applicant's foreign job experience doesn't give any points. I checked my invitation too. We have got no points for my husband's work experience. So basically, there is no need to explicitly show his work experience proofs. bank statements for his account won't be needed now

I guess all sorted. So you need to provide only Joint account statement. Don't forget to attach NOC from your husband.

And no need to disclose your husband bank balance.

I have also done the same. It should work as many banks don't include average six months balance in their letter format. Six months statements would be fine.

Yeah. A simple letter from your husband that he has no objection on you using the fund in joint account for immigration purposes.

Hi All, we have received ITA and we are figuring out on proof of funds that are to be submitted. I am the primary applicant and my husband will be accompanying me. My husband and I don't have a joint account. Although, he had maintained the balance for past 6 months in his account and is currently living in US. As per cic website ,I can use funds in his account but we need to prove that I have access to those funds. what all documents are required in such a case? is there any specific format for those documents?

I don't have funds in my account. Can I show a gift deed from my father in my account of CAD 17000.
Does IRCC ask for my father statement as well or gift deed is done?
