Wow 3 police certificates , we have only submitted one , they never asked for another one .... this VO is so inconsistent . We hit our one year mark today and still waiting ... sighJust got official AOR from Mexico today and a request for a new police certificate. Hate that these are only valid for 90 days - this is the third one we are going to submit let’s hope it’s the last.
Yeah, idk if El Salvador is just the odd one but their police certificates expire after 90 days and we last submitted it in May. Hoping you hear something soon! This process is stressful as is, I'm just hoping it ends soon for all of us & we can finally be with our loved ones.Wow 3 police certificates , we have only submitted one , they never asked for another one .... this VO is so inconsistent . I found that email has worked well as an initial outreach. I later visited my MPs office in person. You really want a relationship with their admins - as the MPs are not normally in their riding offices. For those that have contacted your MP what is the best way to do this? Email, phone or in person?
Email in my riding , however I founds that his admin was not helpful at all and basically blew me off . It’s election time so I plan on following up and making a visit . Over a year waiting so hopefully they help a little moreFor those that have contacted your MP what is the best way to do this? Email, phone or in person?
I sent an email at first and then a representative called me. Then they sent me a consent form to fill out. But to be honest my MP was not much help at all. He did not give me anymore information that I did not already know. For those that have contacted your MP what is the best way to do this? Email, phone or in person?
Exactly like mine... Well I dealt with his rude admin lol. No help at all, I actually just reached out again this morning and received an email back that I should follow up at 13 months. hahahaha I can just do it myself with cic. Mp really only has a direct line to the call center who are in the dark too.I sent an email at first and then a representative called me. Then they sent me a consent form to fill out. MPs do actually have a back channel for inquiries. Mine uses it all the time. I think your MP is being lazy and maybe needs some more pressure?Exactly like mine... I give up and pray daily we dont have to wait too much longer, passing that one year mark hurt
They get no more info than what the call center agents get. No notes nothing. Standard updatesMPs do actually have a back channel for inquiries. Mine uses it all the time. I think your MP is being lazy and maybe needs some more pressure?
The only back channel is a direct line to a call center .MPs do actually have a back channel for inquiries. Mine uses it all the time. I think your MP is being lazy and maybe needs some more pressure?
I understand what you are saying. That hasn't been my experience, personally. I have actually seen emails and notes that my MP's office has gotten. They get no more info than what the call center agents get. No notes nothing. Standard updates
