It's just really unfair, shouldn't it be in the order the applications were received18 weeks and still counting

Just thought of sharing our timeline:
Documents rec'd by ICES: June 07
Date of evaluation completed: Sept 07
Status changed online to completed: Sept 09
Email rec'd with courier details: Sept 11
Courier rec'd (within Canada): Sept 11
Credentials evaluated: BMS from Mumbai Uni, India as 3 year bachelors and 2 year PGDM distance learning from Wellingkar as Post-undergraduate diploma. So we're all set for 2 or more degree category.

Thank you for your email. We can certainly understand your frustration, the information about the timelines are only there so we can be as transparent as possible about expectations. Applications are attended to in the order they are received, but we have dedicated staff with country expertise assigned to each area of the world. Just to give you a sense of the volume, ICES is receiving applications many times greater from countries like Nigeria. So, for every application from somewhere else in the world, we are receiving approximately 300 from Africa. This is significant. This is why this note appears on our website and has appeared since day one. Please remember timelines are only there as a guideline.
