Good day. Does anyone know the time frame in which they send your PR card after pre arrival email is received or what is the next step?

Hello Everyone
I just got an email today saying as follows
Please be advised that your file will be transferred to the visa office in Los Angeles. Should you require to contact that office, please ensure that all correspondence includes your complete name and date of birth as well as the application number listed above. You may contact the visa office by e- mail, fax, or in writing as follows:

Los Angeles
Consulate General of Canada Visa Section
550 South Hope Street, 9th Floor Los Angeles, California
90071, USA

E-mail: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=los angeles
Fax number: (213) 625-7154
My question is as it just says trasferred and does not say for further processing does that mean it just got transferred for PPR??My file was initially being processed in Mississauga. Please if anyone could help me.
Thanks!!

All this means that further processing will be done in the LA office. Whatever is left to be done on the application will be done there. Things like background check, security check and maybe also eligibility of application

Hello All,
I have a general question, Could you submit spouse or child sponsorship application when your PGP(parent) sponsorship application still in process/ pending?

Hello !, guys, a question, I am being sponsored by my wife, she is PR in Canada and lives in Quebec, 4 weeks ago we sent the application for the CSQ and the embassy still does not contact me to do medical exams, We are a little scared because several friends tell us that the issuance of the certificate is parallel to the process here in my country, that is, they should have already sent me instructions for the medical examination ... We are aware that MIDI is receiving a great volume of applications but still we are very concerned, two months ago I sent everything that was requested and still nothing ... Anyone know if the midi notifies the embassy that the CSQ is already being issued or should I contact them? Is it normal for them not to communicate with us for so many weeks? Thanks :(

I sponsored my husband & he became a PR in June 2016. We got into an argument and decided to get a divorce. Now I’m talking to another guy and am interested in sponsoring him. I have gone through the wait period of 3 years. Just wondering if I will be likely to be rejected?

It's likely to be heavily scrutinized at least but if all you've done is "talk" to a new guy it won't be approved. Sponsorship is meant to reunite families.

Hi,
My timeline is so much similar to yours. Iam sponsoring my husband and the status has been updated to Decision Made but we didnot get any email saying Visa Stamping. Any thoughts??

Hi Everyone,
My husband got an email stating to submit passport at nearest VFS office..Cheers!!!!! It took exactly 3 months wait period for me. Its getting quicker now. All the best guys and many thanks to canadavisa members for this wonderful job.

Yeah I don't think there's any issue with that
thanks for answering. Under eligibility criteria at
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ship/spouse-partner-children/eligibility.html
I saw following information, so I was concerned:-
You may not be eligible to sponsor your spouse, partner or child if you:
- you have already applied to sponsor the spouse, parent or child you are currently seeking to sponsor and a decision on that application hasn’t been made

I believe that means if you are trying to sponsor the same person twice
So you can't put two sponsorship files for sponsoring the same person

I got an answer here that it means your marriage is genuine... but not sure if it is just given to everyone and at what stage of an application...
would u share your timeline and what visa office please?
