Changes to Express Entry Application

Sorry if this has been asked and answered recently, I was checking and I only found older posts from a few years back.

I'm mainly wondering if it's still possible to update your profile after it's been created and before you receive an ITA (this is assuming my profile is eligible).

I'm asking as I have my education in being assessed by both WES and ICAS. WES will have it completed by the end of this month however they have just notified me that they don't assess one of my documents.
I'm waiting for ICAS to reply to confirm if they will be assessing that same document currently, however I am hopeful they will be able. However they won't have my assessment completed before my visa expires.

So essentially I'm wondering if I am able to apply and open my profile with just the education assessed by WES and then while waiting for an ITA let ICAS complete their assessment, following that am I able to then update my profile to show the updated education assessment from ICAS?

I ask as the extra document refused by WES does give me a decent boost in points on the application. I also understand that I am only able to update my profile if I am deemed eligible and don't have an ITA.
