You can do biometrics wherever you're located. So many people work away from their home country. I would imagine they don't travel back to home country just to do biometrics. When I filed there was no biometric requirement.
YEAH i mean after ITA and passinf medicals .. thank you . That's what i thought but i want it to hear it from someone else

hey guys so my application got rejected and i am but in the pool with 460pts ...
meanwhile i have got a job offer in a Gulf country. I am thinking of accepting it and continue my express entry journey at the same time.
If if get an ITA how can i jugle this ? if i get it before starting the new job do i not mention it and send an update later when i start? and if i get an ITA after starting the new job , are a copy of the contract and a reference letter enough ?
Besides will i be asked to do the biometrics in my country of origin or in the country that i moved to ?
What was the reason for rejection

I hope those who open fake accounts with high scores just stop doing it it’s not fair for anyone
because there is no way for the numbers to shoot up this high in one year
Oh yes there is.

No one in the US knew about express entry program or ever gave a second thought to Canada until last year. But that all changed now.
There are tens of thousands of candidates with US masters and many years of quality, in-demand and relevant employment experience who are considering the Canada express entry program as a safety net. These folks average above 450 and anyone with masters is 470 plus. My score for example was 511.

Everything makes sense and it’s not some huge CIC conspiracy. Competition is high with lots of talented candidates showing interest. That is all.

Part of what you say is True
But the world is not Only US my friend

Canada is always preferable immigration destination in the rest of the world
India China and Nigeria equivalent to more than 70% of applicants before and now

US degrees and work experience is no different to Any degreeS or experience in the world so that doesn’t give them any more Points

Nobody say anything about cic conspiracy it’s all about miss use of the system
Witches shows in the amount of ita being turned down recently which witness huge increase according to the Many immigration news letter

Have a look in the pool numbers last year and this year considering the 20 pointed increase in the cut off (numbers will not add up)

World is not what you see you need to Think deeper to figure it out

Does your husband contribute any point (Education and IELTS) to your CRS score?
Yes, Education as graduation and IELTS - 7,6,6.5,7 in LRSW
I have asked him to give IELTS again as if he gets CLB 7. I will get 4 points and my CRS will come to 462. But looking at current trend, feel 462 will also be less :(

Agree my frnd. However, if the popularity has increased manifold amongst the students, all or majority of them will apply as soon as their education is completed and their degrees are evaluated and they will not apply in parts. The trend we are observing is that there are a huge bunch of profiles(Around 300+ per day in 451+ category) getting added everyday and that is why the CRS cutoffs are not coming down in the 2 week gap draws.

Also, the decision of migration to a place doesn't happen just because someone wants it to happen. There has to be equivalent employment opportunities and sustainability for the individual to analyze. It may be the case that a lot of misguided folks are creating profiles without proper knowledge(of NOCs etc) and immigration consultants are not helping this cause either. It will be interesting to see the total number of COPR issued against the number of ITAs to analyze the conversion ratio.

Also, IRCC, like last year would do a year end reconciliation to analyze this and may end up issuing more ITAs which will bringing down the CRS(like Jan this year). I still believe that they will issue more than 95,000 ITAs this year and for that, they either have to increase the ITA per draw quota to 3900 or the number of draws themselves.

Seriously??? I feel so bad whenever I read such comments. This forum named "RAY OF HOPE" we are here to motivate each other not to make people feel depressed by such posts. I was at 407 worked hard and now sitting at 453. Patiently waiting for my turn from Dec. 2017, I have faith in almighty and I know that I will get ITA very soon. People who are around 440 also have a very good chance to receive an invitation from PNP's.

Please don't post such comments who will make others feel nervous. I might be sounding little rude but sorry I know that how people with lower score feels when they see such comments from people with higher CRS.

I agree with you. I like how people think that US degrees are better than the rest of the world. Maybe their advantage is they get a high language score that boost it. A part from that, I think CIC should make a special program for US Immigrants apart from the rest of the world :)
