I was wondering, could the processing of student visas be a reason why they have been slow of late? Summer break is over and students are set to resume this month.

It is possible of course. It is also possible that the upcoming elections may be causing delays. I'm a firm believer of everything being connected to everything else in one way or another.. so I'm sure there are multiple factors causing the delays, and honestly I don't see it getting any better unless IRCC starts paying more attention and proactively does something about it, beginning with hiring more staff..

It is a good sign, any comm from sidney is good, sometimes I feel they are all dead there anyway good luck. Tell me, were you under security screening or review required for something?

I called IRCC yesterday and agent told me that my eligibility is still in review.

I am tired of waiting. It’s in review since 18th March.

As of yesterday, Eligibility, Criminality and Medicals were cleared. Security check was pending.
As of today, security is also cleared. Application is pending for final decision.

Please someone provide the time taken for providing final decision after all checks are done.
