Hello everyone. Im new to this thread.
Im a Canadian citizen sponsoring my Jamaican husband.
Send off my application on August 28 2019
They received it on August 30 2019 (today).

So the wait begins for my AOR.

Wishing everyone good luck on their applications.

My husband has been in Canada for over a year and a half and if I had to do it over again I never ever would have started this process. Him and about 10 others I know have come and destroyed their partners lives. So be very cautious, they say a lot of stuff to get here, but once here it’s a different scene. And I thought we were good and solid.
omg I'm so sorry just wow

Yes it really does sucks. I know quite a few ppl this has happened to and its always with a Jamaican guy. This is why they scrutinized all the spousal sponsorship involving a Jamaican guy.

Hey what up... it's been a while since I've come on here... hope everyone is keeping strong with this stressful process. I'm wondering if the KVO is open today?

Hey all...when I checked GCKEY last week I noticed the application status changed from the message that was something along the lines of "you may not hear from us for awhile this is normal..." to now replaced with:

"Make sure you read your messages and take action when we ask you to. This will help move the application process along".

Does anyone know why? Does this change when they start eligibility perhaps?

I think it’s just an automatic update once you pass the 6 month mark.
