Hi All, I have been a silent follower, but thought I would share my timeline:

AOR - 10th February 2019
MEDICAL - 28th March 2019
BIOMETRICS - 12th April 2019
VISA OFFICE - London (UK)
British citizen living in England

Heard nothing after providing biometrics. Emailed Ralph on 5th August 2019 and was advised "Eligibility and Security checks have not been initiated." Also sent a web form on this date to which I received no response.

Another web form raised around the 10th August 2019 to which I received no response.

1st GHOST UPDATE - 12th August 2019
2nd GHOST UPDATE - 13th August 2019

Sent another email to Ralph on the 13th but was advised to contact again in 3 months.

I was reading through the forum and came across a post by bairn... (sorry don’t remember full name) who had mentioned they had contacted Ralph within the 3 month period and had received another update, therefore emailed Ralph again on 23rd August 2019 apologising for emailing within the 3 month period however, wanted to understand what the 2 ghost updates related to. Received a response from Robyn (Ralph’s office) advising "all assessments (eligibility, criminality, and security) are passed as of August 13, 2019. The file is awaiting final review and decision."

Heard nothing following that so decided to try raising another web form on 30th August 2019 (yesterday), writhing half an hour I received an email advising I have a new message in my account. The message was requesting photo’s and to upload passport photocopy (not required to send passport as we do not need a visa to enter Canada). Will be posting out pictures in the next few days.

Hope this helps others and good luck to everyone who is still waiting. Let’s hope it comes through soon
Congrats! Yes I spoke with Robyn also. It appears to be Robyn that does all of the responses and she genuinely does want to help. Also, I thanked her after telling me my application was approved so she does check the emails in real time, during office hours. She must get inundated with requests. She truly is an angel, but it is wrong that we should have to resort to an MP's office to get updates.

Anyway, your wait is now over! My photos and documents (I had no placeholder to upload Appendix A etc) were received on Wednesday so I'm hoping to receive my CoPR in a couple of weeks. I'm making the move in January. Do you have definite plans to make the move?

Thank you and congrats to you also. I agree Robyn is lovely and super helpful.

It is a relief that the wait is now over. It got much more stressful once the 6 month period approached and went. We’re also planning to make the move in mid January 2020. We have quite a bit to sort out with the house etc before then so wouldn’t be feasible for us to move this year.

Where in Canada are you planning to move to? We’re planning on going to Vancouver.
Hi , how many days where you given to submit passport? We were given 15days. I thought it's usually 30?

AOR - Feb 18

Just now had a chat with an agent. She informed that my status is as follows:
Eligibility - recommend pass
criminality - pass
Medical - pass
Security - not initiated
last time any one worked on it - Aug 15

The agent was very polite but refused to put in a reminder to the officer on my file. She said things look in order. Officer are reviewing the application and they will give their decision in due course.

Are there any useful insights in the above. This is the same update we received from Mr. Goodale's office a week back.
Your VO ???

We have been given 30 days but we only need to submit photos not our passports. We would need to upload a scanned copy of our passports. As we do not require a visa to travel to Canada they do not require our physical passports.

Strange they have only given you 15 days. Are you based in the UK as well? May be different for different nationalities?

No I am in Nigeria and we do require visa.
Yes it is strange, thanks for replying anyway

But their site says that when they ask for RPRF it means our application is approved. Why they took so much time?

Also, do you know what was your criminality, eligibility and security status at the time of RPRF payment?
Hi,
I paid my PR fees and landing fees at the time of submitting the docs. However, till date haven't received any update on my application. Below are my status updates

ITA - 11th Jan
AOR - 2nd Feb ( paid fees while submitting docs)
MEDP - 18th March
Biometric - 21st March
Since then no update. I called IRCC, they said my application is still with Delhi- immigration office, I guess that's my local visa office.
Very confused on the status of my application.
Can any one help with any suggestions.

Same for me too CPC OTTOWA . AOR 16 Feb and have same status as you.
keeping fingers crossed. The agent also asked us to only call in January 2020, if there is no progress on our file. This is pathetic level of processing and very stressful for people who have been patiently waiting for 6 months timeline to get over.

Hello @LuckyCent and all the other forum members.
My name is Amit. I just joined the forum now though I was silently following the form from the last 3-4 months. My question is when did you got the email from Robyn Sullivan??? I got the same email reply yesterday. My AOR IS 16 feb 2019. Have you got any other information or update apart from this now ???

Hi @adstarscream732 when did you got the email ? Any new updates for you like GU OR INPUTS AFTER CALLING IRCC ???
@adstarscream732 @LuckyCent @legalfalcon @rushi.gada @PrasadK and all other veteran n fellow forum members.
My status as on 27/08/2019 informed by Ralph Goodale is as follows :

I spoke to IRCC regarding your application received Feb 16,
2019. It is at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa.
Standard processing time is 6 months. This means 80% of routine applications
are completed within that time frame, while 20% take longer.

Criminality passed.
Eligibility is in progress - recommend pass.
Security checks have not been initiated. They cannot be expedited and
timelines are not available.
Medicals are valid until Jan 2020.

MY QUESTION IS - ARE THEY GOING TO SEND THE FILE TO LVO (New Delhi VISA Office) AFTER COMPLETING THE FORMALITIES FROM THEIR END OR are they going to complete the file at CPCOTTOWA AND WILL SEND ME THE PPR EMAIL FROM THERE ? How much time you guys think it will take for me to reach the final destination I.e PPR ?
Please experts have a look and do let me know. This waiting thing is taking its toll on me and I am passing through a phase, I want no one else has to pass through.

FYI - I applied online and my country of residence is India.

I don't think there's anyone in the group who has received PPR in time. This movement should be carried out across all VOs.. I am willing to sign up for CPC Ottawa
There's another suggestion to create a wave against IRCC rather respective VOs as ultimately it is the responsibility of IRCC. We have paid fees to them and this timeline of 6 months is also prescribed by them. Since there is no monitoring and timeline pressure on VOs(as evident from one of the postings in the group) from IRCC, they take applicants for a ride. Also, if people are able to unite, there will be much larger number of people against IRCC than respective VOs..

@munindra
Did they told you specifically to call in Jan 2020 ?? Are you sure ??? Were they serious... if yes then that’s the most pathetic thing I have ever heard. We applied in Feb 2019 n with a timescale of 6 months processing time and have paid for availing their services but the level of service they are providing is very very poor and can’t get more poorer than this. I can’t imagine waiting till Jan 2020.
May God hear our prayers and bless all of us with PPR’s at the earliest.
