so quick question, if you get the Biometrics Request it pretty much means you are approved rite? Got biometric request this morning. So now just waiting for the DM and then medical request?

Quick question: at what point are you parents who I am sponsoring become my dependents for tax purposes (or do they even become my dependents in the first place)? I.e. at what point in the application process I have to mention my parents as my dependents on my tax filings?
May 26th (which was a Sunday!) AoR....hopefully we will see some more 26/27th today.
They will never be your dependent in the tax filings if I understood correctly.

I am not at that point in my application process yet, but I do have a question regarding PCC. My Bangladeshi grandfather, who I am sponsoring, lived in Pakistan for a few years as part of job training. The thing is, when he lived there, he worked for the Pakistani government as Bangladesh and Pakistan was still the same country. Will he need to do PCC for both Pakistan or Bangladesh or will just doing Bangladesh be sufficient? I have read online it can take up to 6 months to get any sort of certification from Pakistan for non-citizens.
