Hi, i applied online, and that is the reason I did not upload financial documents as there was no option to upload them in the portal.I shall submit them via web form as you suggested. Will submitting by webform surely add the documents to my application and be considered. Is there a chance that ircc will ask for them additionally, considering it wasnt asked in the online uploading portal. (The online application asked questions regarding US visa, and then the portal to submit documents is provided).
One of the purpose of the web form is to update or give more information about an application. I think IRCC will email you if they require additional steps like a medical exam or an interview but I'm not sure about documents. You see on online when you click the question mark (?) icon per category it already indicates which documents to include.
I wonder did you not see the Proof of Means category? As it asks the following bellow (basically the financial documents)
· Your bank statements for the past four months
· A bank draft convertible currency
· Pay stubs
· An employment letter
· Proof of assets or business
· Proof of payment of tuition and accommodation fees
· Tax report, declarations or statement
· Proof of a student/education loan from a financial institution
· A letter from the person or institution providing you money
· Proof of funding paid within Canada. If you have a scholarship in a Canadian-funded educational program
· Proof of a Canadian bank account in your name if money has transferred to Canada
Please provide as many as you can. When you upload to the web form.
Can they reject an application for not providing a document they didn't ask for?
The financial assets are part of the ties they check. I thought that you applied for Can+ so I was surprised when you said you applied online.
