Very sorry to hear your news. Could you please elaborate what qualifications you submitted to WES. Also, we knew that once WES certifies the educational qualifications, it is acceptable everywhere, but your experience is opposite of this. What could be the reason?
Hoping your case gets reopened soon.
One is of 3 year diploma degree
And a 4 year BE degree

I just called CIC and unfortunately got connected to a bit abrupt agent. She asked for my application details and without taking any time gave me some shocking information. Every other time I have called, The agent takes a few mins to look into my application before giving any information.

She told me that security has not even started and takes a lot of time, and that there is a note from the officer that the timeline is postponed to October but theres no guarantee it will be done by then. She told me I can check in again in October or November.

Does anyone else think its fishy she had my application and notes from the officer pulled up so fast ? Also, do you think its ok if i call back on Friday or next week ?

Thanks in advance.
whats your AOR, also to fetch the file it takes 5-10 min , what the agent must have seen is a summary, Yes call back on some other day but if you get to a good agent ask questiions on your eligibility as that is the first to be worked on but not necessarily

HELP !
Just called CIC for the first time...got NO Info at all as my visa office is outside CANADA
I pleaded, but the agent dint say a word other than raise a webform and inquire...which i have already !

the call went like:
me - Good morning,im calling to get an update on my PR application
agent- asked verification questions ( application number , name,DOB , Place of Birth, verified the contact number and address) ..then informed me my application is being processed in London VO ( which i knew thanks to Mr Goodale)
me - can i please know the status of ..( before i was about to utter the 3 words -eligibility , criminality and background check) he said sorry i cant help you ..you need to contact London VO
me - can you please send a reminder or mail or inquiry to them (as we all know London VO takes months to reply)
kept trying to ask him again n again using different phrases ..but no luck
agent - apologised and we said goodbye

my question is ...only the applicants whose VO is in Canada can benefit by calling CIC ?!? im sure ive read elsewise..

or did i say something wrong ??
or did i just encounter a strict agent in my first call ?
Same story.. I thought I got unlucky as mostly ppl here get a better response. And yes my application is at London office too

So I was asked for Additional Documents 2 weeks ago (Job Description + Contract) and I submitted it two days afterwards. They gave me a 30 day deadline originally but since I had to submit more than 1 document (4 in total), I submitted one through my CIC account and then all 4 through a web form. I received an email last week stating they have received my 4 documents but my question is this: Will they wait out the 30 days regardless of how quickly I submitted these documents before they look at my application again? I'm getting really sick and tired of waiting..

Guys, is anyone able to contact CIC over phone ? Apparently it has become very difficult now. I am on day # 215 today and there is still no update! Still living on the hope that someday I will receive the golden email.

Just spoke to an agent regarding my situation about the work experience. He explained that since I was given a 30 day period it's likely that it will be at least 30 days from when they received it before they look at it (meaning they'll look at it near the end of September..) I guess the silver lining is that my background checks and criminality are all done and we're just waiting on this eligibility!

Yes, that makes sense.
