Guys! Finally got my first ghost update. Feb 10th AOR. Okay not really my first cos I got 1 immediately after I got my biometrics letter which was in April. Since then nothing. I hope I'm not getting excited for nothing but i feel its a sign my file is finally making some progress. As of 13th of this month when I sent a web form and contacted Mr Goodale was told only criminality passed the rest had not been initiated.

It's a great feeling! Celebrate coz ppr is now round the corner (could be a long corner, but it's still a corner nonetheless) You should try and see what the ghost update is for - I bet eligibility!

Can I call CIC if I am not currently in Canada? If so, which number should I call?
I got a very general reply from IRCC via the webform, my aor is 14/2/19
· The responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied,
· The background verifications are currently in process.

Crossed 6 month today.. :/
So the message on my account says 80 % of the applications are processed within 6 months. Is that really true? I can't believe soo many of us have not got PPRs.

So the most appalling thing happened.
As of last Friday, 3 hours before the close time my security and eligibility had not started. The IRCC agent sent a reminder.
Today after 2 hours from open time my file is in queue for review required by an officer.
Did they even open my file or just straight to senior officer as the times up and the first officer couldn't be bothered. My file is super easy to understand unless she just gave it away. I am so sure nothing was done on it.
BTW How much time this review? Indefinite?
Anyone experienced with the same?

I believe 80 % of us are in same status @ Waiting for the review by visa officer. this stages happens after agent reviews your eligibility. for instance my file has been reviewed by agent in April Last week, afterward its waiting for officer till date.

Currently he is the only hope to give the information. Even GCMS notes are getting delayed!!!!!
Ralph Office provide information from IRCC before mailing them to us. It also goes into IRCC record that a member of parliament had contacted IRCC for information on the application.
