I wish to visit my husband in canada and i applied for visitor visa and was rejected. The reasons were i have not traveled enough but have traveled to 2 Asian and 2 midleast countries lived in a middle east country for 15 years and the next reason was the visa officer was not convinced i will return back to my country but my son is schooling and got leave approval from school and i am working in a reputed place and had included a leave approval letter from the place i work and the last reason was that i am not stable with finance and assets but i got both of them, i have a substantial amount of cash which is more than enough, plus my husband is spending for all my expenses. me and my son had high hopes going for a holiday but i really dont know the reason why i was rejected. the only mistake i did was did not put a cover note, and the leave application was signed by the Personal Secretary to my boss. and i had not done a valuation to my property. can someone advice me please.

Those don't count because they want to see short-term travels to visa-required countries like the US, UK, Europe, Australia.

i have a substantial amount of cash which is more than enough
Maybe "substantial" in your eyes does not mean the same to the visa officers because Canada is a very expensive place to be in.

These were not required and were not the cause of your rejection.

I wish to visit my husband in canada
This is the real reason you were rejected.

It can be hard when you have a significant other living in Canada. The natural assumption is that you would want to stay and live with them as long as they are in Canada. Which is not what Canada wants on a visitor visa.

On what status is your husband in Canada?

What does this mean if I re apply will I get rejected I am still not ready to move to another country. I want to see the country and spend one month with my husband. I will apply for my pr maybe later because I don't want to move from my family in my country. And my job requires my presence this month I cannot leave the country

My husband is a Canadian citizen we just got married last year

We have been in a relationship for the past 3 years and he has been coming to see me once in 4 months and it never occurred to me to go to Canada because he came Every time I wanted. I got my holiday approved so thought of visiting my husband for a change definitely I have no intention to stay more than a month.

Overall, it's harder for spouses of Canadians to be approved for TRVs because the assumption is that they will stay, as @Jets13 said above.

What you say may be what you intend in reality, but you must prove it to the visa officer with official documents. Maybe you can try with a cover letter, although I don't think that was the issue.

Maybe on re-application you will get a nicer visa officer with a different opinion.

Maybe a miracle and I getget a nicer visa officer and get the visit see the country for one month and come back to my xountry. Thank you for the clarification

What are the options then, just checking for my knowledge. What do citizen or pr holder do for their spouses?
