A quick question.

For a couple who have got through express entry -
The primary applicant has landed in Toronto last week.

The secondary applicant wants to land in vancouver.
Is that okay ? Or should the landing be the same as the primary applicant. Pls help
First Landing for secondary applicant should be same as primary applicant. After that, you can travel as per your need.

Why does that matter for landing? I might choose to land in Vancouver if I come from Seattle and then take a long drive to Toronto. Why does that matter for a PR? I think we are confusing with "Landing" vs "Living". You can choose to land anywhere in the country, but living/settlement should be in the nominating province if you are on PNP is what my understanding.

Yes, you can get it signed by Dynpro HR. (Considering Dynpro is mentioned in your payslips).
ok thanks . in case the payroll HR is not agreeing to the format , can i get it signed by my manager at IBM ?

i dont think u need POF
Hi, thanks for your response.
Why do you think I don't need POF? Doesn't everybody need POF while filing PR application?
I just want to speed up the process after ITA since I don't have much to do before getting ITA.

Please help with visitor record.

Hi guys my workpermit expired and i want switch to visitor record to remain in canada. How is the process to change my status and where can i find details for changing to visitor record. Please help

right now I am at 448 and will jump to 459 in March Work permit till July 2020. Is it safe to wait for March or will need to get lmia from current employer
If your enployer is ready to give you a job offer supported by LMIA then doing so will be a smart decision. 459 is a safe score right now but it might not be next year. Number of international students coming to Canada increased dramatically in sept 2015 & jan 2016. Those students will be getting their two year work experience soon. So in my opinion sooner you get an ITA the better.

"Candidates from the Federal Skilled Trades Program, were eligible for this round of invitations." what does this mean? Does anyone know?
Does that mean CEC who are having enough points won't get invitation?
There are 4 categories: Canadian experience class, federal skilled worker, federal trade and PNP.
So it means that federal trade category was also eligible under this draw if the candidate's score is more than minimum crs in that round. CEC candidates were still eligible.

It was for visitor visa from inside canada ,so that the same? When i checked in cic website it says visitor record takes 6 days to get approved ,but my application says 113 days .im confused.

No it's not the same. You sent a wrong application

If that was the only thing you did before your work permit expired and you are still in Canada now, you are now out of status. You need to apply to restore your status as a visitor within 90 days
