Question guys... For biometrics, is it only for the principle applicant? The request i received is addressed to my Mom (PA) and the instruction looks like only she needs to provide biometrics... How about ME?

Bio metric request was received in mycic portal. I got a notification email for an update in application.
My impatient anxious self ended up calling ircc just now to know what is the update. After putting me on hold he came and said It would be wrong if he says they have started working on it. They are checking for criminality. I'm not sure what that means. I ask I dont see in process though. He said because they are doing inventory right now
Do they check criminality first or sponsor eligibility first ?

I just realized I only received ONE Bio request letter for my mom - the PA, but nothing for my dad, the dependent... This isn't right, is it? Does anyone have similar issue?
Bio request will always come under the name of the "PA" and applicable to all the applicants and dependents
Update: I was wrong...all the applicable parents and dependents will get separate bio letter, ideally at the same time in different emails.

But the letter only has one barcode related to the PA, there's no mentioning to my dad...

The same happened with someone i know. The mom is in canada and the dad is in home country. She got a letter foe bio for the dad and not the mom.
@canadaDreamz14 Congrats. Where did you do medicals from India or Canada and what date ?
