I changed my address on ecas on 12 August..still not updated either. Yesterday I spoke with CIC agent but she doesn't know who updates in such cases and she just can check the file only.
I think it takes a while to update. I changed my address in ECAS on July 31st, got my in progress on August 15th, and the address change reflected on Ecas on Monday, August 19th. So it took almost 3 weeks for the address change to reflect on ECAS in my own case.

Hello everyone. I changed my address on ecas on 13 August. My address is not updated yet . Website says it may take 5 business days to update buts its more than that now.
Any idea how long it takes to update my address

Have the applicants from May 2019 started getting IP ?

Hi,

I also had a gap from my old passport to when I renewed. What I did was to explain the gap. I believe there is a comment section in the form that states explain any gap. I didn’t have to include documentation to prove the gap and I got AOR.

My gf’s application for was returned yday. The letter said that her passport(s) do not cover the 5-year period preceding the date of application. Looking at both her passports, I saw that the old one was expired on May 4, 2016 and that the old one was released to her on June 21, 2016. So there is around 1month gap. Could that be the reason? She renewed her passport late, that’s why there was a gap. What documents could We provide them along with the explanation that she renewed her passport late that year? Thanks a lot!

It appears that some have; however, this is not the case for the majority :)

I would not advise you to call too early. You should know that the time is varies..now it's about 75-85 days. But if it's over the average it might make sense to call. I think those guys get AOR right after the call because the CIC agent makes some official inquiry about the case that helps.

lmao. it's just a coincidence i would think. besides, this is the right time to get AOR anyway. you can actually do an experiment, try calling them as soon as they received your application (or even 10 days after), let's see if they will give you AOR right away just because you called.

I could not find a number to call. Can you share it ? (even on PM if it's not appropriate to post).
EDIT: I found it after posting the message. It is pretty obvious in the canada.ca website...

Thanks

Thank you. I saw that, and also that I forgot to say my AOR date is July 18

(although I only see that online, I never received the booklet and physical AOR).
Typically, AOR is sent by email.
I don't know about the booklet, my wife is a July applicant so we are not close to these steps yet. We ordered the booklet while preparing the application.

Kindly add me to the tracker.
