I don't see any Apr 26 applicant who is still waiting for AOR. If people submitted their applications late and waiting, its not our problem. I am not crying, its just an expression of sad face. As CIC updated everything so quickly and nothing since a month after that. If you can't post anything constructive, stop criticizing other people's comments. Good luck to everyone who haven't received updates.
Nice expressions of a sad face sir. Good luck.

You need 6 months validity to get PR Visa from CIC. Then you can enter anytime before that visa expires. So probably your wife didnt enter Canada around 3 months after getting the visa stamped? Correct? Unless few countries passport need less validity.
In our case, my wife's passport was having 5 months validity when we sent for stamping. It had 4.5 months validity when stamping was done and COPR issued. Until we got our COPR, we were not even aware of 6 months rule. When we contacted ticket booking agent, they informed us of 6 months rule and said that airline on Indian immigration may not allow to fly. Then we called airline and Indian immigration at Indian airport, they said they won't stop us if we have PR as 6 months rule is for visitor visas only. This was in 2011 so if anything changed since then, I may not be aware of it.

Not yet. I did send the previous medicals IME along with the PGP application so lets see whether they use it or ask me to get a nee one.

I’d recommend you wait till you get a request. I read somewhere that either you submit the medical documents with the application or after they ask for it. Nt in between as it delays the process. If they ask you for medicals try submitting a webform with the IME. I’ll be trying the same if that doesnt work; we’ll get the medicals done again.

My mom had a medical test this June, and she got IME letter last week. Her doctor said he is not allowed to do the test again for her in such a short time gap. She needs to use the June results but not a new test. So I submitted her results by webform last week.

Ohh perfect. So lets hope that we don’t get a medical request.

Did you have to go back to the doctor to get the IME form?

Guys I need help here

I am lost

I received a request to resubmit my IMM 1344
I called CIC to understand what was wrong in my original form that i submitted but they said since it is temp application they cannot see my form that i submitted and they dont know what the issue exactly

they said usually they say what the issue is in the letter

I checked the letter and I am not sure what the issue is

the text in the request is this
IMM 1344: A current, completed and signed Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship
Agreement and Undertaking (IMM 1344) with completed eligibility assessment
questions. Sponsors who reside or intend to reside in Quebec do not need to complete
Questions 8, 9, 10 or 15 on this form. Please note that the Principal Applicant listed on
the IMM0008 must also be also listed in Part 1, question 4 of the IMM1344. This form
must be completed by you, the sponsor, and co-signer if applicable, and the person you
want to sponsor.

You must submit the most recent version of this form (06-2019).
https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm1344e.pdf

Can anyone understand from this what was wrong in the IMM1344 that i submitted ? (I live in Quebec)

One thing I did is that the form I submitted I answered question 8 as No which i shouldnt answer since I live in Quebec
Could it be that reason ? Fore sure

Thanks
I have highlighted the possible reasons. Good luck!

I have a question regarding medicals. My mother had somewhat higher BP (145/90) and the doctor asked if she takes any medicine, to which my mother replied that she does not take any regular medicine, but take it sometimes which is true. The doctor did not do any EKG or asked any other question. Also my mother normally gets high sugar in blood test but her kidney (blood creatanine) test always comes normal.
Do doctors do creatanine test as part of regular testing or its extra based on once they receive the blood test reports ? She was not asked for any extra testing.

My question is when does the doctor decide to do EKG and Creatinine tests and should I be worried ?
It seems like serum creatine test is required for all and not just for high blood pressure, anyone on same boat? my parents got 160/105 first time then after that drop to 110/90. Doc said it is likely due to white coat syndrom but still we got serum creatine test

Is everyone able to login to MyCIC using the GCKey?

Logging in redirects me to the homepage and I need to check it because there's a message in the account.

You are quite right sir, and it hasn't changed, this is actually called the 6 month rule and Canada is not even a signatory of this (a quick Google search will confirm this). The airline is not a border officer so not letting you board the plane because of this is illegal as they have no right to act as a Canadian border agent.

On the other hand, if they let you board, the border agent here would just ask you how long you are staying and if your passport has 4 months and you are staying 1 month, there's no issue at all.
