Hi guys,

I can't renew my NBI clearance because mine hasn't expired yet. Am I allowed to get a new one? When do I submit it because when I passed my application, it didn't have one for it. Thank you!

You have to submit it online. Scan it then upload it. When you log in click your file “check application status” then click the underline “view submitted application or upload documents” then you will see a table format look for the police certificate there should be upload document button on the far end of the table. Then when finish uploading don’t forget to click “next” at the bottom of the page. Because if you don’t it will say that not submitted to IRCC. So the next time you you log in when you check again your documents submitted. It should say “uploaded”.

Also I think you don’t need to get a new one. Since yours is still valid. But I think yes you can get a new one. “Renewal” if they ask why you getting “again” can probably just say you lost your copy or you need an updated one. You can print the letter that Canada sent you about the police report then you can show it to NBI for proof.

There isn't one for police certificate. Maybe it's different when it's through SDS?

But what’s the point of hiring an agency’s services if you’re not given assistance on important requirements like your SOP!? When you were asked to revise it, were you at least given specific feedback on what needs improvement? What to remove, what to add, what to strengthen? I gave detailed tips on how to write a kickass SOP (incl. what each paragraph should consist). Backread a little on this thread, and look it up. Hope it helps you the way it did me.
Hello lilliecutie...i appreciate and admire your attitude of gratitude by paying forward whatever blessings you received... i just want to know if you have any idea about the chances of our 1st batch of the k12 (senior high) graduates to get a student visa for Canada...those who want to study abroad rather than here in the Philippines...my daughter belongs to the1st batch...and she is in 2nd year college now at one of the top universities in Quezon City...but she wants to continue her studies in Canada and planning to take 2-year diploma business course program in an Ontario College...

Thank you for whatever inputs you want to share

Oh yeah right maybe.....Mine is regular. Hehe. Try to chat with VFS Canada Manila https://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/Philippines/contact_us.html. The chat button is at the bottom of the page under helpline. I think they are active during work hours Manila time 7am-4pm... Even if you applied online they will try to help you out if you have questions.

I hope everyone will have the student permit soon.
