I'm not immigrating to Canada as I'm a born and raised Canadian Citizen but I have a question regarding my Indian girlfriend who's in Mumbai, awaiting her visa. She's in express entry, has already been invited, cleared her bio-metrics and police check, etc. Next step is passport call I believe. Long story short she applied for her Canadian PR/Visa before we met last year and then as fate would have it, we met each other while we were traveling last year in Vietnam and have been long-distance since.
Question is, she should get her passport call/visa literally any day, any week now I feel. At this point is there anything I can do in the odd chance it's still months away to speed up the process? Anyone to contact? Literally just a waiting game as you all know and it's not easy but being supportive and positive as best as I can and I have all the faith in the world it'll come soon. She's the sweetest, cutest, most loving, smart, weird, fun human I've ever met and miss her dearly.
