Congrats!
If you don’t mind my asking, before today did you check your ECAS online what does it say?
Well i did check it 2 weeks ago just messing around. And it couldnt locate me in the system. I guess i have to wait for sometime before it actually appears on ECAS right?

No, it was not a re-submission. First time applying.
Oh .. that’s strange .. anyways since you only see the line saying application received it’s safe to assume they haven’t sent out your AOR email yet.. so be patient.. hopefully you get it soon.. there are still some late April applicants yet to receive AORs as per the tracker .. so no need to panic

Hi guys. I sent my application on May 10. On may 25th I checked my ECAS and it was saying they received on May 23rd. Two days ago I got on my email the AOR. Does someone have an idea of how long it takes for me to be invited to do the test? Thanks

I think it’s minor, it’s around then end about election choices (if you want to be part of registered list of electors).. IRCC agent said that if I get lucky it won’t be returned but some agents will consider this as incomplete..
I have left it unchecked as I am not from Quebec. I have already got my AOR.

I think you should be fine.. because if I remember correctly they say your response to these questions doesn’t affect the citizenship application anyways.

Yeah September is a long stretch I won’t be able to wait till then.
I will do exactly the same then. I just called IRCC asking about why my application still shows not received yet. The agent on the phone used their internal communication channel to send a message to their receiving department to ask for status. However, he said they have 30 days to respond...... I aint gonna wait for another 30 days.

I think you guys are panicking, let all May applicants(Only 58% of may applicants have got their AOR) get their AOR and then you can send your application again. I would say use the web form and provide them with your UCI and Canada Post Tracking number, and let them respond, don't ask for AOR, ask if they have received your application or not. And don't call. I feel Web Forms provides a much better response than the phone.

We are panicking because if you look at prior months application, it didn’t take 90 days for aor! Also I called a few times, and although some agents tried to say I should only worry if nothing September, others have clearly expressed that it was longer that what you would normally expect for an AOR . So it’s hard to stay patient, even though that’s for sure the best and wiser advice!!
I have submitted a webform, and hopefully will get some update next week

So if you submit your file again now, they won't open it for another 60 days. So in my opinion its better to track your current application and see what they respond regarding it. If we had a column in our sheet to track who sent to which location, that would give a good idea if location of the application makes a difference. I can totally understand the panic as I was in the same state before i got my AOR last week. Anyhow, good luck. With CIC, its always a game of patience.

My patience is really dying out. It has been 3 months for me already. Today, the agent on the phone clearly stated that this is not normal.
