Hi guys, I got my approval yesterday.

First Application.
Applied online : June 22, 2019
Biometrics: June 26, 2019
Medical: July 17, 2019
Passed: July 20, 2019
Approval/Correspondence :August 1, 2019

Just want to say, I was really worried as all the documents I submitted for proof of financial ability were much and after managing to compress to 3.9MB, the documents didn't look too sharp, I thought that it would be an issue but I thank God, for favour. I will suggest if you are having same challenges as I did, you can use CamScanner on Android play store, I found out about it after submitting mine with poor resolutions.
Thanks.
I used can scanner to scan and compress mine but it was still to large as the statement of account was about 100+ pages, they were about 3/4 statements. I had to go online to use an online compressor to recompress. I also put the 100+ statement in additional information instead of financials

IDear Sir/Ma,

Kindly find attached my Medical Report Details for my study permit visa application.

I probably got the request later on and that is why they approved it but you could just try and pray.
Send to accra.immigration@international.gc.ca
And cc:nrobi-immigration@international.gc.ca
Best of luck.

Hello all
Is it advisable to pay tuition fee upfront before applying for study permit?
Those who got the study permit already, did you pay tuition ? Was it just a semester or complete academic year.
Thanks

Hi Chris, I know someone who didn't pay tuition but paid accommodation and she got in.
I didn't want to take any chance, so I paid 1st semester tuition, security deposit for my 1st semester accommodation and attached the official receipt from the university in my application. I felt it would make them see how serious.

Ohh I don’t know about that I thought all Nigerian visa applications are being processed in nairobi
Nah some are in UK it's mainly UK and Nairobi though. When you got to the hospital you just explained yourself to the receptionist and there were no qualms at all? or did you have to see someone in a high Post or something like that
