Try not to call too often, because they make notes in your account when you call. I spoke to an IRCC agent last Monday and emailed the MP on Friday for the first time. When I called yesterday the agent said I've been calling a bit recently, and I explained that it was because what the IRCC agent and the MP told me were different things so I wanted to double check.

I have recently raised a query through webform. How long does it take get a reply from them. I have touched my 6 month mark on July 27 and having anxiety attack!
Depends. i received response in 5 days from LVO first time. its been 14 days this time no reply yet. standard time is 28-30 days
what about other visa offices do they work as usual or they follow canadian schedule ?
Most likely the visa offices they don’t work..... can’t assure anything.....
Provincial Day – August 5, 2019 ... Celebrated on the first Monday of August each year, Civic Day or Provincial Day is meant to foster the spirit ... It's a statutory holiday in most parts of Canada. So now our luck whether visa offices will be functional or non-functional

Same aor here friend... they will probably reply within 7-10 days . But that reply will be too generic. Order notes , wait and pray . Wait is hard but finally it’s reward will be worth celebrating
we should wait at least 196 days ( standard time these days)London Visa Office had issued PPR on July 1, 2019 (Canada Day)...their calendar for public holiday/closures is available on their website based on which Monday (August 5, 2019) is a holiday
