PPR to COPR Journey - PPR in JAN/FEB-19

Hi Guys,

Update ! I called today. They said there's no update regarding my passport in the system :(.

But said my application was updated on July 26th to generate visa, document.

Not sure what that means. It's not officially approved yet. But said to call back next week if I don't get an update. Did anyone get a similar ipdate ??
Waited on line for 40 min but the agent was really nice.

P.S Delivered to Ottawa on July 18

Seems like your passport is in queue for visa printing.

Update: Just called them and they confirmed that my passport was received by the officer on 29th July (was Delivered on 17th July) and is currently in the printing room for visa and COPR, and will be mailed back once that's done. They said it wouldn't take long, maybe a couple of days to a max of 2wks. They also said it may or may not show any updates on CIC given that the application is in the final stage but, they did mention I may see something once my application is marked as "closed" (which is "open" right now)
Will update you guys if I get any other updates on CIC. Thanks for all the help and support on this journey so far.

PS: I really like how kind and helpful the phone agents are :)

Thanks !! Agent I spoke to yesterday was very nice too. They said mine was updated on July 26, and count 2 weeks from that day ,!never said anything about passport. Mine was delivered on 18th. Hoping it'll go smooth.

Similar update for me, sent july 11th received july 15th
Confirmed received/ sent for printing July 26th
Today or yesterday my cic account was updated approved.
Any idea how long it should take now?

Same here. I called CIC yesterday and they told me that they see some update on the application on 29th. As I am dependent on the application they were not able to provide much information. Fingers crossed. Please update us when return tracker gets activated.

I don't think it'll take that long now. Based on what have seen u will get ur passport back by Friday :)

Hi Megha,

Was urs delivered on 19th morning? Sound about right. Mine was updated on July 26, and delivered on 18th morning. Hopefully we may see approvals soon. Fingers crossed :)
